The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars

I had the privilege of being a senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

The Wilson Center is our national memorial to President Wilson.  It was established by Congress in 1968 as a nonpartisan institution that studies national and world affairs.  The Center embodies President Wilson's belief that "We are not put into the world to sit still and know, we are put in it to act."

My relationship with the Wilson Center dates to 2004, when I was invited to present a "Director's Forum" on the subject of the transnational university, which you may read here or view here.

I was in residence at the Wilson Center during the 2005-2006 academic year and a nonresident senior scholar from 2006 until 2010.
